Shiloh Line Dance - FUN! FUN! FUN!

Over 100 residents and guests attended this party. Steph Hempel taught 3 line dances before the band began, and Linda King sang a song with the band later. Linda performed at Harrah’s
Lucky Break and was on television April 28th. A group of her HHR buddies cheered her on during the taping on the 18th.

Golfing News

Golfing News

Golfing News

There’s nothing more relaxing
than a fun round of golf.

The Pro-Shop Grill and Golf Course are now open from
8:00 AM to 6:00 PM - Tuesday - Sunday
Closed on Mondays.

Reminder about Walking on the Golf Course & Dogs

The only day it is permissible to walk on the golf course cart path is Monday when the golf
course is closed. IT IS NEVER PERMISSIBLE TO BE ON THE GOLF COURSE DURING THE HOURS OF OPERATION REGARDLESS OF WHETHER ANYONE IS PLAYING OR NOT. This is not just a rule, but a mandate from the insurance company. It is EXTREMELY hard to get carriers for Association insurance policies and if we ever have an incident because a resident was on the course during the hours of operation we could find ourselves without an insurance carrier. The worse case scenario (besides an injury) would be we’d have to close the golf course. The second worse case scenario would be our rates would go up and that would ultimately affect our monthly assessments. If you see someone on the course that isn’t playing golf please report them.

Current Golf Course Hours Tuesday - Sunday 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Note - 6:00 PM is the last tee time, golfers may be on the course until dusk.

DOGS
Obviously, if non-golfers are not allowed on the golf course during regular golfing
hours, their dogs are not allowed as well. We have had many complaints about dog
excrement around the course, and if the matter continues we will probably ask the Board of
Directors to ban dogs altogether from being anywhere on the Golf course.

It is a rule of the by-laws and a Lake St. Louis ordinance that all dogs must be on leashes all
of the time. The only exception is if you have an invisible fence and the dog is contained by
the fence and the special collar. If you see a dog off a leash call the Lake St. Louis police,
636-625-8018.
It is also a city ordinance that owners must pick up after their dogs.

Lastly, it is very annoying to try to play golf with non-stop dog barking. Please be considerate
of your neighbors and do not allow your dog(s) to bark continuously. This applies to homes
that are not on the golf course as well. .

Please remember that the golf course cart path is not to be used for walking during the hours the golf course is open. At this time of year that is Tuesday - Sunday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. This is a mandate from the HHR Association insurance carrier, and is for your own protection.

ARTS & CRAFTS SHOW - APRIL 14, 2007

VARIETY NIGHT
Above are the Gateway Harmonica Club. Above right: Vince Koehr dances with Mirage Belly Dancer Penny Moskus. To the right the belly dancers pose with some of their admirers. Below Mary Rose Cassell and Larry Knopfel were drafted to try to belly dance. To the right below is Cameron Ritter, a world class juggler who is a high school senior just 18 years old.

Despite his youth Cameron Ritter was quite good at juggling and very funny. He ended his show by juggling swords and lit torches.

Something for everyone at Heritage of Hawk Ridge

The Shiloh Dance on April 20th was non-stop fun. First, the dance lessons, then the Heritage Hoofers performed a country tap dance number, and then plenty of dancing, and not all of it was just line dancing. Later, Joe O’Coin and Sandy Aubuchon got up and sang with the band.

The residents are putting their lessons to immediate use. Thanks to Stephanie Hempel and Janet Cook, and Joe & Ellen O’Coin for all of their work in making this a great success.

Dave Williams & Mary Ann Bingham complete guitar class!

We would like to express our deep appreciation to Stu Cassell for teaching us how to play the
guitar. He was very patient with us as we struggled to coordinate our hands with our brains
over the last several months. We may not be ready for a “gig” yet, but we are coming along
pretty well, thanks to him. HHR is a wonderful place, since people are so willing to share
what they know with others.

Many thanks from: Mary Ann Bingham, Ron Miller, Dave Williams
