COMMUNITY NOTICES

To the Care and Concern Committee and Our Neighbors:

We sincerely appreciate the expressions of concern during our recent surgical episode.  The care and support of the community were indeed very comforting.  Also the aid provided by our neighbors during the recent ice and snow storm and at other times in mail and paper deliveries has been so helpful.  Our deep thanks to everyone.

Kathryn and Don Strom   - December, 2006

Our 4th annual gift exchange/soup & salad party was December 13. We had close to 60 gals and it was great to see so many of our newer ladies participating. I think everyone enjoyed the evening, and we had a wonderful array of awesome gifts. Thanks to everyone who helped set up, clean up, and get the rooms back in shape. Hope to see you for our 5th exchange party in ‘07.

Merry Christmas - Carol Richert

Stu, thank you for all of your support on A Cup of Christmas Tea.   There were approximately 80 families participating in this event.  177 people attended and we had 21 servers wearing tuxs/black tie.  (and approximately 25 people on the waiting list) It was very heartwarming and the reception to this project was overwhelming. Ladies have made reservations for next year!!!!

There are so many to thank but with your support, Stu, and the hard work of Lowell Barnes and our spouses, friends, sons, neighbors and Recycled it was sooooo successful. Many, many, many thanks.

The Care and Concern Committee of HHR
