| Community Notices
News around HHR - we recently completed the installation of
sprinkler extensions near golf green number one, and between holes
six and nine. We’ve also replaced over sixty rotted boards in the
bridge over the big lake. We have added 4 new metal top tables to
the pool area and some new chairs and umbrellas.
WE FINALLY HAD OUR BERM PARTY
By Andree Wayman
Neighbors living on Pigeon, Hawks Landing, Toucan and Seahawk got
together in the backyard. This included all residence living around
the berms in the backyards. We had a wonderful party after being
delayed by one year and a day! We thought we would be rained out
today, but a couple of the resident "weathermen", Garth, Walt and
Orville, convinced us the storm was going to pass us by and, by
golly IT DID!!!
As usual for this community, the food was plentiful and delicious
and we all had a great time eating and visiting. Attending were
Karen & Jim Singleton, Leal Stewart, Al Schwartz, John & Margaret
Nocton, Martha Nolter, Martha's daughter Sue and her husband Tom
Gill, Pat Goddard, Marjorie Bruce, Elva & Orville Rumrey, Jerry &
Chris Stephenson, Huguette Duff, Jean & Walt Zpevak, Jeanette Hage,
and Garth & Andree Wayman. We'll try to do it again next year and
hopefully the weather will cooperate and all the neighbors living
around the berms will attend. |

REMINDER
All guests should be accompanied by a resident when using
the amenities, and everyone coming to the pool area needs a pass, even if
you do not swim. Children should be in bathing suits if they enter the
pool. No diapers please. You may bring more than 2 guests if you have a
guest pass for each of them. You may borrow a neighbor’s guest pass if you
need more than two. Stu Cassell, who owns a villa at HHR has placed his
guest passes on his bulletin board and anyone that needs 2 more passes may
borrow his. The office staff all know about this and you may borrow the
passes even if Stu is not here. Reminder - Please ask your guests to be
sure to return their car passes to the guards when exiting the property.
Thanks! Attention residents selling their homes: Please turn in your
clubhouse entry cards, country club cards, and guest passes before you
move so we can re-label them and pass them on to your buyers. Your garage
door openers should either be given to your real estate agent to present
to the buyers at the closing, or left in your house for the new owners.
Also - we have just received a ruling from the HHR Board of Directors
indicating that each time a home is sold, whether it is a first time sale
or a resale six monthly assessments must be collected at the closing for
the Heritage of Hawk Ridge Community Association Capital Reserves.

Veta Carins has on a pretty sun hat and
the weather was perfect. Several of our own residents competed in
Bocce Ball, including Helen Roberts who is 91 years old! She won a
gold medal.

Volunteers were invited to a pre-game dinner hosted by the St. Charles
Golden Game Committee.
Pro-Shop Grill offers service with a smile
 |
Who is that familiar face behind the
counter? It’s none other than our own Judy Jacques who recently took a
part-time position at the Pro-Shop Grill. Good help is hard to find
and we’re very lucky to have someone like Judy helping out at the
Pro-Shop Grill. Don’t forget to tip your waitress! Judy’s a great
addition to the staff. In addition to her other talents, Judy paints
too. She did that lovely picture to the right. |

Dixie & Eddie Webber assist
Louis Lafikes as he does a magic trick on Saturday May 13th. In
addition to many illusions and card tricks Louis also did balloon
sculptures to the delight of the sold out audience that attended this
fun show. He made dogs, fax machines, airplanes, & elves all out of
balloons. |
