Their Balls Weren't the Only Thing Red in Recent Bocce Ball Tournament!
Whether it was loyalty to the St. Louis Cardinals, or a clever attempt to psyche out their opponents, it worked pretty well. The guys came in 2nd place and won trophies. Bocce Ball Tournament - Sept. 29, 2002

From
Stu's Desk or somewhere near it!
More than a few residents have told me that at first they were reluctant to take one of the bus trips, but after they tried one, they realized how much fun they are. For example on our last Casino trip, Jeanette Hage fascinated us with a colorful joke that had everyone on the floor with laughter. (I had to ask them to return to their seats). Jim Singleton found out that I named a shortcut that he showed me on a previous trip “The Jim Singleton Memorial Shortcut”. My wife pointed out that it should probably be called “The Jim Singleton Honorary Shortcut” since as far as we know, Jim is still alive (oops!). Be adventurous, it could be fun and fascinating! Stu |
