Creve Coeur Golf Course
www.creve-coeur.org

The Creve Coeur Golf Course is a municipal nine-hole located in the heart of Creve Coeur. The course measures 3,050 yards from the men's tees and 2,419 yards from the women's tees.

With the relatively short length and no sand traps, you might think the course would be easy to tame, but that's not the case. With a slope rating of 111 for the men and 104 for the women, and a course rating of 68.2 for men and 68.8 for women, the course is a tremendous challenge.

Sloped fairways, two tiered putting surfaces and short shot over water hazards add to the character of the course.

The Hills Golf Club at McKendree
www.thehillsatmck.com

The Hills Golf Club at McKendree University is an 18-hole, public golf course and features some of the finest greens in Southern Illinois. Whether you’re a low handicap golfer or a new golfer about to play your first round, The Hills Golf Club at McKendree University offers 18 holes that will provide a challenge to everyone.

The front nine layout requires proper club selection. Uphill and downhill lies along with several doglegs will make you think twice about your club choice. Accuracy with drivers and approach shots is of the utmost importance.

As you turn from the front nine to the back nine, switch your focus from accuracy to distance. Although the tenth hole appears to be a docile par 3, golfers of all abilities are often fooled by the upper level winds and wind up encountering the front bunker. Once past this short hole, you can hit it hard to improve scoring opportunities. What better way to finish a round than our challenging 18th hole! The last hole before the clubhouse requires a blind, uphill drive protected by a lateral hazard that runs the entire right side of the fairway. The long, narrow green is protected by sand and water.
